There are many different reasons for this. Here are two of them.
BIBLE FOCUSED: Throughout the book Vincent using God's Word to remind the reader of God's Gospel that is essential for God's people to live life God's way. References, portions and in some cases, the entire verse are on the page to remind the reader that the statements are not merely Vincent's thoughts. They come from God's word.
SET UP: One of the great things about the first section of the book is that Vincent has 31 points. One Gospel reminder for each day of the month. Newer editions of the book have the statements numbered. If you have an older edition the list below will help you use the book as a daily reminder of what God has done for you through the Gospel.
